Ashlen and Vincent

Ashlen and Vincent married in San Marcos, Texas at the atmospheric Windermere Farms. A sailcloth tent in the Texas hill country? Sign me up!

The day dawned with clouds filled with rain, but absolutely nothing could diminish the joy and love that filled the air at this wedding. With the help of their incredible planning team, LNC Weddings, Ashlen and Vinnie married in the mist and rain overlooking the Texas hillside. The guests huddled under umbrellas while the bride and groom and their wedding party embraced the raindrops with the most euphoric joy. It was such a uniquely special moment!

While the rain drip-dropped, the tears also flowed. Ashlen and her siblings lost their dad to ALS a few years prior to her wedding, and his absence was keenly felt. Ashlen's brother walked her down the aisle, while several lifelong friends and relatives filled in during her father-daughter dance. It was the sweetest way to honor Ashlen's dad's memory, and honor those who have walked with her since his passing. The photos perfectly capture the depth of love and emotion felt throughout the day. I will never forget it.

One of my favorite aesthetic elements of the day was Ashlen's unique color palette. We paired tones of mauve, blush, lavender, burgundy, and blue to create a rich and warm color story. Lexi with LNC Weddings paired the florals with the most beautiful linens, layering pattern and texture in her signature way. Logan Crake captured the day in the most authentic and artful style; I will cherish these pictures of these lovely blooms and joyful moments forever. It was a joy to be a small part of this massively creative and talented team!
